Another first grade week is in the books! We had a fun day enjoying the beautiful weather, practicing sight words and math during Fun Friday, starting a new Junie B. book, and practicing partners of ten with food and art!
We watched Ten Apples Up on Top and used apple cereal as our tiny tumblers on math mountain. The kids were a little nervous about writing on our new tables but I promised not to tell Mrs. Tann! It was a great way to reinforce the patterns we can see while adding partners.
