Today we started wrting a letter to Mr. Mortenson. The kids were great at remember the different parts of a friendly letter. Tomorrow we will finish it up and bring it to him!
We went outside and FROZE at recess! Hopefully tomorrow it will feel a bit more like Spring!
We also reviewed addition story problems. The kids used several strategies to come up with an equation. They used number lines, ten frames, and drawing pictures.
After reading groups we had a conversation about Whose House? and acted out our vocabulary words. The kids scurried back to their tables, looked back at me with watchful eyes, and showed me hollow hands!
