This morning we read Martin's BIG Words and took notes about MLK, Jr.'s life.  The kids were so adorable with their clipboards at the rug! 

In math we used our fingers to help with addition.  The kids played a partner game that had them adding two numbers and coloring in the sum.  The first player to get all of their balloons colored was the winner!  It is a really great game that you can recreate at home!

After reading groups we revisited I'm a Jolly Farmer.  We talked about the setting and compared it to Chugga-chugga Choo Choo.  We also reviewed jolly, versatile, and fantasy.
