This morning the kids and Mrs. Burton kicked off the day while I went to a District writing meeting. I came back to find them enjoying recess on this blustery day!

We watched a brainpop video about Martin Luther King and added another fact to our writing.
We reread David's Drawing and answered the question "Why did he redraw the same tree?" It was a great class discussion with some really deep thinking! We reviewed our vocabulary words, spontaneously, agreed, and contribute.
