Welcome back! It is hard to believe that it is December when it is SO beautiful outside! In your kiddos folder is the calendar they filled in. I challenged them to tear off a random act of kindness each day in December! Some of them may need to finish cutting but I think they were very excited about their mission!
This week we are focusing on needs and wants. Today we sorted some of my things from home into a pile of things I need to stay alive and healthy and the things that are nice to have.
We read Winter Lullaby and searched for our two new sight words, where and do. The kids also noticed the patterned text and rhyming words. They learned three new vocabulary words, creeps, arrive, and nestle.
