Pumpkin celebration continued in kindergarten today!  We read Pumpkin Circle, a nonfiction book about the life cycle of a pumpkin.  The kids have mini books and a pumpkin life cyle papers to tell you all about how seeds turn into pumpkins. 

 

During our science investigation the kids drew their pumpkin, counted the lines (ribs), measured the height, and predicted and experimented if their pumpkin would sink or float. 

During math we practiced couting to 50 and counting forward from a number.  They were given a number and then jumped the next three numbers on a giant number line.

We also enjoyed some EXTRA recess at the end of the day on this beautiful weather!
