October 10

The kids hung out with Mrs. Burton this morning while I was at a District meeting.  They worked on rolling and writing numbers on white boards, had morning meeting, and read Pumpkin, Pumpkin

After recess we started a painting project.  They painted one page orange and another green.  During our snack we watched a reading of Spookley the Square Pumpkin.  It is about a unique pumpkin that is teased because he is different but in the end is celebrated for being special.  We used our painted papers to create jack-o-lanterns.  Each one is different and every one is perfect!  They will be on display in our hall during conferences!

The kids also were busy narrating their sentence the wrote from my home visits.  I can't wait to share it with you next week!  Enjoy the time with your kiddos!  I will miss them!
