We had a fun day adding jack-in-the-boxes to our J page and jumping during our song! 

 

The kids did a great job labeling me with post-its for my head, foot, arm, leg, and tummy.  Then they partnered up and practiced on a friend. 

Then they labeled their self-portrait from yesterday.  They had to pay close attention to the beginning sounds of their labels!

After recess we read one of my favorite books Chrysanthemum by Kevin Henkes.  We talked about how even when kids are unkind we are still SO special!  After specials we created a beautifully messy masterpiece to celebrate our names!
