This morning the kids got busy making violet Vvs and adding vines in their alphabet books. We also started making family trees (one of my all-time favorite projects!).
The kids counted the number of family members they have and practiced writing their names. Mom and dad were easy! We had to work a bit harder to sound out sibling names!
During math the kids practiced writing their numbers 0-10. I sent it home so that you could see which ones can be practiced! Mrs. Burton read them One Gray Mouse and had fun searching for the mouse while counting the number of objects on the page.
We reviewed our vocabulary words from the last two reading units. We have learned savor, appetite, urgency, surround, aroma, and tradition.
