January 18

This morning we wrapped up our study of Martin Luther King Jr. by making a collage using the brown finger painting we created earlier this week.  They look really cute alongside our big dreams in our Monsterpiece gallery!

We burned off some of our energy during a much-needed recess!

During Friday mania the kids had several opportunities to practice their sight words!  They played sight word jenga, wrote them on the white board, jumped them on the trampoline, read them in books, made them out of play-doh, wrote them in shaving cream, and built them with puzzles pieces.  The kids also practiced identifying letter sounds during bingo.  The best part was they covered the letters with m&ms which they got to eat at the end of the game!

Addison brought us a yummy and healthy snack of mini blueberry muffins and oranges.  Thanks Addison!

Have a wonderful holiday weekend!
