November 19

We had a great time celebrating the first Thanksgiving at our Popcorn Pow Wow!  The kids enjoyed making pilgrim costumes,
painting Indian corn,
making turkeys,
patterning grapes, pretzels, and marshmallows to make kabobs,

creating Native American jewelry and costumes,
and making deerskin pouches to hold their popcorn!

They also made fry bread and rattles.  It was fun to see all 38 kindergarteners feasting together in the middle of our hallway!  Thank you to all of the moms and dads that came out to lend a hand at our event!  Thanks for all of your donations that helped make this day a success!
