I was impressed at how well the little monsters adjusted to our wonky schedule today! We started our day finishing up our math paper from yesterday. They identified, over, beneath, left, right, near, far, beside, and between. After morning announcements they headed over to the center room to finish up the last rotation for our five senses tubs. Ask your child if they enjoyed the chocolate they tasted!
Hopefully you have had a chance to listen to your kiddo "read" you their 5 Senses book. Today we did the smell page. They were very good at identifying the cinnamon scented cotton ball! Can you guess the rest?
We finished up the book Up, Up, Up, It's Apple Picking Time. We identified the characters and the setting. We learned the fancy word aroma.
Friday MaNIa was once again a huge success! I saw many treasures acquired from reading books. They also really enjoyed writing letters in shaving cream!
To finish up our week Jillian and her mommy brought in goldfish crackers and apples with caramel dip. It went perfectly with our read aloud! During our snack the kids watch an Annie and Moby about characters.
I visited five more homes today. I have had such a blast seeing the kids in their elements! I have played legos, had dance parties, seen art and crafts, checked out puzzles, saw a people vs. animals fort, raced cars, had a tea party, and seen technology in action! What other job can put all of that on a resume?! Thank you for welcoming me in your homes. I can't wait to finish up next Friday! Enjoy your weekend!
