March 7

Today we studied police officers.  I heard all kinds of funny stories about the naughty things mommies and daddies could do that might land them in jail!  I also heard all about the members of your families that have been speeding!  Then we made some super cute hats and badges!

 We have now entered phase 2 of Kinder City!!  The kids were excited to see all of the new buildings they get to visit.

The grocery store was a big hit!  They had fun shopping, checking out, and paying for their groceries.

The construction company was very busy today!  They had to answer calls,

build hotels, and houses.

There was all kinds of news to report today!  Mostly it was about the weather.  I heard that it was going to be 100 degrees with a chance of snow!

Miss A got a check-up from Dr. J.  Don't worry it was just a broken arm!

There was lots of fun to be had in the salon.  There were new hairstyles and...

fancy nails!

We continued our Dr. Seuss celebration with The Cat in the Hat Comes Back.  There were pink spots hidden all over our room with sight words on them.  The kids went on a word hunt to find them all.  They had a blast! Don't forget to wear GREEN tomorrow!

The kids added another idea to their uniform writing.  They are getting so good at writing more than one sentence!  We are working on making sure there are spaces between their words and even introduced the shift bar to add an uppercase letter.
