December 18: Polar Express Day!

Our day kicked off with a reading of The Polar Express by Mr. Mortenson.  Then to our surprise we received a package from the North Pole!  Inside were jingling little bells and they were COLD!  They surely from Santa Claus himself.


 Everyone loved being aboard the Polar Express.  We watched the movie, ate a smores snack mix, and drank hot cocoa!  It was a very fun way to spend the day!

Don't forget that tomorrow is our field trip!  Please be sure to dress your child in their blue Sunflower shirt.  They should bring a disposable sack lunch with their name written on it.  We should arrive back at school by 3:00.

    I tried to pretend I couldn't hear Caleb's bell ring. He believed me for about 30 seconds. You should have seen his eyes :)
