November 6

Whew!  We were back to normal today!  We started our day in the center room.  Some of the fun happening in there is making a farm mural with our hand prints and acting out Mrs. Wishy-Washy

We can in and had a discussion about what soldiers are, can, and have.  We used a lot of our descriptive words from our "What I Am" song.

We read Mrs. Wishy-Washy's Farm.  We had a lot of discussion about how the animals feelings changed from the beginning of the story to the end.  We also learned three new fancy words, moans, huddle, and anxious.

After reading groups we continued comparing numbers with greater than, less than, and equal to.  The kids played a partner game that had them count, write the number, and compare their number to their partners using the "alligator mouth."  Both friends read the comparison.  They had a great time with this!
